What was the highlight of Shibuya Granbell Hotel
No-frills comfortable hotel located in busy area.
Great location near Shibuya station. Clean room, comfortable bed. Two pillows. In-room refrigerator and (small) safe. Air cleaner provided.
Slightly difficult to find for first time visitors. Small but typical room for Japan single. A/C was locked on Heat so the room was too warm, and the window did not open. Only one bath towel + hand towel provided in room. Only 2 electrical outlets so it was difficult to plug everything in to charge.

What was the highlight of Shibuya Granbell Hotel
It was satisfactory. The staff at the front desk were nice & helpful.
The location was excellent, although you must walk up a short but steep hill to enter the main entry.
The hotel didn't feel particularly clean. Although it is a more modern hotel, it felt grimy, like the cleaning staff did a quick job. There are marks on the walls, doors & cupboards & just generally lacks that 'cared for' feel you usually get at Japanese accommodation. Also, temperature control in the rooms during winter was poor. It was very hot, but you could open the windows if needed. The elevator nearly ate you. It closed so quickly & didn't bounce back when you walked in, meaning that you got squished.

Good location, average stay
It’s clean, good location close to shibuya crossing.
The staff were a bit rude upon check in. The rooms are literally tiny for the price, I understand rooms are small in Tokyo but for the price it was insane.
